Goldcrest Archers was established on 11th November 2011 (11/11/11) we are an active club who encourage and enjoy all disciplines of Archery.

We are located in the heart of Tameside as we nest between the historic archery counties of Cheshire, Lancashire, Derbyshire and West Yorkshire.

Goldcrest is an inclusive and multi ability club whose members work together to help the club run for everyone's (and the sport's) benefit and promotion.

We are proud to have a County level Qualified Coach and two Level 1 Qualified Coaches who run beginners’ courses, for new and aspiring archers. The club also provides regular coaching evenings and mornings to help all our members to develop, progress and improve their technique.

Goldcrest is an extremely supportive club that celebrates all our members' achievements, including those shooting National, County or Club Records, those who are selected to represent National Squads but also those who enjoy the social elements archery can bring.

We are very proud to boast that one of our members was selected to represent TeamGB at the Paralympic Games in Tokyo 2021,

The club is fully affiliated to Archery GB, Cheshire Archery Association and Northern Counties Archery Society.
